Cook Island language week
Wow! We've had an amazing two afternoons learning about Cook Island language and culture.
We have danced, sung, drummed, made tivaevae prayed and greeted.
Check out the pics on our school Facebook page.

Terrific Tuesday
What a day!
First we had the Duffy Theatre crew performing a play for us. Rosie, Nga and Sonny were clever and funny and their acting and singing was fun. We learnt that reading can help you travel to other times and places.
Then the year 5 and year 6 had Kowaiau. This afternoon we were playing ki o rahi. We might enter the primary championships later in the year. Our year 6 team picked it up really fast!
