It is with some sadness, a lot of laughs and good memories that we farewell our Year 6 leavers (and the lovely Mr Young) today. We are all very proud of the growth they have made through this year and wish them all the best in their continuing learning journeys.

Robbie Fruean Shield winners!
BIG congratulations to our rugby team who took out the Robbie Fruean Shield competition on Friday.
The team worked hard on their skills, teamwork and sportsmanship - and it helped them to win the grand final.
Here's hoping the All Blacks have the same result this weekend!!

We're guest stars on WellyEd blog
We're world famous in Wellington! Maraeroa Seniors have been featured on the WellyEd blog to celebrate Connected Educators' Month (October).
WellyEd have shown classrooms across the Wellington region each day through October. Our post about the flag tournament shows how Maraeroa School collaborates (works together) with our neighbouring schools, including Porirua College.

Room 5 Re-Opening
Today we celebrated the re-opening of our modern, colourful, spacious learning environment - the Room 5 classroom. Our room was blessed by a Ngati Toa kaumatua and we enjoyed finding our way around the different spaces and furniture through the day. Thank you to everyone who helped give us this wonderful class space. Doesn't it look great? We are really proud!
